Scope

Polaris was engaged to complete the urgent supply and delivery of a new CLA D33 access walkway for Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Cape Lambert port facility in the Pilbara, WA. Works comprising:

Shop detailing of walkway based on the provided drawings and 3D scan
Supply and fabrication of the walkway, including walkway & stair stringers, supports, fixings, gratings, and handrails
Surface treatment
Delivery to site of all fabricated assemblies

The new CLA D33 Access Walkway replaces a heavily corroded catwalk that spans between the CLA Wharf and Dolphin 33 at Cape Lambert.
